Your money, your device.
Receiply is built around one rule: your financial data lives on your phone, not on our servers. This page summarises what that means in practice while our full policy is being finalised.
01 — Receipt photos
Photos of your receipts never leave your device. Receiply does the image-to-text step on your iPhone and only sends the resulting text to our parser. Your camera roll never touches our servers.
02 — Transactions
Amounts, merchants, and categories are stored on your device in SwiftData. If you opt in to cloud sync, they're mirrored to our database — encrypted in transit, scoped to your account — so the same data shows up across your devices. You can turn sync off and your data stays local.
03 — What we never store
We never store receipt images, bank-account credentials, or any data we'd need to sell. Receiply is a paid app, not an ad-supported one — our incentives stay aligned with yours.
04 — Logs and telemetry
Our backend logs request IDs, endpoint names, latencies, and HTTP status codes — never receipt text, amounts, merchants, or anything that identifies you.
05 — Contact
Questions, deletion requests, or anything else: support@receiply.co. The full policy will be published before the App Store launch.
